Prices vary according to level of detail/complexity of the planned artwork. A non-refundable downpayment of 30% of the final estimate is required before work begins.

All artwork is completed according the rule of "first come first serve" and the artist's schedule. If client puts a downpayment on a commission, they will receive that commission as a perfected, finished work of art they are entirely happy with. This is my promise, as a professional artist, to my much-appreciated customers.

Digital Fine Art
Painting through a computer, via software such as Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop, has revolutionized the creation of fine art today. Artists now have the ability to create artwork that replicates the look and feel of traditional work in a fraction of the time without the cost or complications of traditional media and materials. The finished work can be printed on fine art paper, canvas, posters, greeting cards, or just about anything else! It's an incredibly versatile way to create affordable, beautiful artwork.
Single-subject digital paintings start at $150, and digital drawings (which look much like graphite pencil drawings) at $55. Estimates vary based on subject matter, number of main subjects, complexity of composition, and necessary research/references. Please see examples on this page.
Deliverables include a large web-resolution image of the finished work and one(1) 11"x14" print of the artwork on fine art paper that has been proofed and signed by the artist. Additional copies, larger or smaller prints, or canvas prints can be ordered at additional cost.
All digital artwork remains copyrighted by the artist.

Traditional Fine Art
Oil paints, airbrushed acrylics, charcoal and graphite are all put to use in creating portraits, pets, landscapes and so much more. The tactile nature of traditional media, stunning color, depth of value and careful detail are all highlighted in finished works.
Because of the cost of materials, time and skill required in the creation of traditional fine art, works generally cost twice that of their digital alternatives. Please see the examples on this page.
Deliverables include the unframed final work of art and any rough drafts suitable for collection/framing. Prints of the final work may be ordered at additional cost.
All traditional-media fine art remains copyrighted by the artist.

Aviation Art
Since 2001, Diane has been producing highly detailed, accurate drawings and paintings of aircraft ranging from the Wright Flyer to modern jets, with an emphasis on the Warbirds of WWII. She continues to be inspired by aviation and is always open to commissions of aircraft new and old.
Aviation art may be produced in traditional or digital form, as full-color paintings or black and white drawings. Because of the detailed nature of aircraft and the necessity of collecting research materials, starting prices for Aviation Art is somewhat higher than for other subject matter:
- single-subject digital painting: $300
- single-subject digital drawing: $150
- single-subject traditional painting: $600
- single-subject traditional drawing: $275
Deliverables include either an 11"x14" print in the case of digital work or the finished canvas/illustration board for traditional work. Alternative prints or prints on canvas in the case of digital work may be ordered at additional cost.
All aviation art remains copyrighted by the artist.

Illustration and Graphic Design
Art created for use as illustration is almost always completed digitally, though some larger illustrations may be rendered in traditional media. Illustrations range from small pictures and custom clip art created in Adobe Illustrator to full-page, fine art-quality images. Deliverables are customized to the project's needs.
Graphic design encompasses any Photoshop work, whether Photo-Restoration, image editing, advertisement, labeling or poster design, typography, and just about anything that falls outside the realm of fine art. All design work is carried out according to the project's needs. Deliverables are supplied in appropriate digital formats for use on the Web, in print, or both.
All illustration and design work is executed at a $35/hour flat rate.
Copyright of finished work is negotiable with the client.

Logos and Trademarks
The creation of a custom logo for a business or personal endeavor is a process of brainstorming and exploration resulting in a unique design that symbolizes the motivations behind it. All logos are produced in Adobe Illustrator for the greatest versatility and practicality. A logo/trademark package begins with information exchange, proceeds to thumbnail creation and selection, and finishes with full renderings of 
color, grayscale, and black and white designs. The final compilation includes all final versions of the logo as well as font, process and spot-color information.
The logo/trademark package is available for $100. Copyright is passed to the client for all business purposes.

World of Warcraft Fan Art
As a World of Warcraft player myself, one of my favorite subjects to draw and paint are game characters, whether my own, my friends', or the game's own NPC's. Because I have a familiarity with the game and it is an enjoyable hobby for me, I offer WoW fan art at reduced rates. All work is digital, deliverables including a very large (desktop-sized) screen-resolution image and avatars/forum signatures at request. 
Because of the prevalence of "stealing" artwork within the fantasy RPG communities, I retain all high-resolution images. I am more than happy, however, to order prints for you of your finished artwork and will only charge you what the print shop charges me, plus shipping. Copyright of course remains Blizzard's.
Single-subject prices:
- digital pencil character portrait: $35
- full-color character portrait: $50
- digital pencil character illustration: $60
- full-color character illustration: $75
Adding a second character to the scene doubles the price. For pets/non-combat pets/mounts add half the single-subject cost. Backgrounds are minimal but created to suggest mood or location.
